Slow Down and Look at This Sales Copy

22 Mar

What can internet marketers learn from all the bank card gross sales letters that are available in the mail? In fact they most likely have some of the smartest and sneakest individuals writing their sales letter copy. Here is a real life of example of a credit card offer I got in the mail.

You are pre-approved to receive our Platinum Credit Card – a luxurious feature for those with excellent financial credentials, it’s your turn to say yes to us. This is definately a card that you’ll want to carry, it’s not someting that just anyone can get.

What an excellent opener. It tells the reader you are valuable because you are approved to carry this card. And your status will be elevated if you decide to use this card. It also says that you are special because it is a special card. The message is you’ll also be special if you carry this credit card.

For starters you’ll receive a low fixed APR on all of your balance for the next year. Then you rate will remain fixed for the next nine months. You’ll be eligible for a credit line up to $100,000 and pay no annual fee.

The next line is meant to get your attention and tell you more about the benefits. Notice how they keep you reading. That’s the whole goal of a sales copy. You want your audience to want to know more. You want them to be drooling over your product. Sentence one is a feature, sentence two is a feature, but sentence three tells you what you get if you use their product. This is how you better sell to your list. Just think of a few creative sentences that are eye catching. Then rewrite them.

With your Platinum Credit Card you’ll also be eligible for these special benefits: (The letter goes on to detail that. Notice how they make it sound like you already have the card).

The point being, you need to offer a bonus. Maybe it is coaching, maybe a short ebook you wrote on the subject. If you are promoting an affiliate link, maybe you to set up a squeeze page to get their email and then send them the bonus with your affiliate link. Another super tip is to to create a link like Get the Best Internet Marketing Device. Don’t tell them what the widget is because then they can evade your affiliate link. And then you don’t get paid.

I Hope you’ve found these few sales copy tips useful. If you’ve time please check out my best friend’s website about Trigeminal Neuralgia. He is creating awareness for this rare disease.

How To Take Your Email Marketing To The Next Level

22 Jan

No other communication tool has been used as much as email, and nowadays it has become a standard to have one. If you don’t learn the successfuly strategies of email marketing, then you’ll find it a tough road to walk. And now, let’s move straight ahead and talk about how you can take some suggestions and incorporate them into your marketing.

Get this, there have been quite a few studies that show that you should send an email to the people on your list on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. These days, it’s common for people to want to communicate to want to understand. In other words, the chances of them reading your content and visiting your offer page are high, which means more sales/leads. The reason Monday’s are no good for sending emails is because the weekends often leave people trying to play catch-up. Then, on Thursday and Friday, they’re trying to get ready for the weekend. That’s why you’ll want to target the middle of the week if you want to sell more. You’ll want to get this right as you don’t get another chance. Yes, you can send another mail but that would have to be after a time gap. Never try to alter your email marketing campaign, as you risk losing customers. If you are writing a newsletter, or an ezine, or maybe you just want to send out a few secrets to the people on your list, you must ensure everything is similar. When everything looks the same, you will begin to brand yourself in your list’s heads. Eventually there will be a sense of trust between you and your prospects. What that shows is that you’re there to help your customers, and that can increase your sales and your business.

Every email that you send out should have a strong call to action. A call to action is just telling your reader to do something specific whatever that may be. For example, if you have a promotional email with links, then actually tell them to click on the link, now. It’s a good idea to strategically place your calls to action in several places. You never want to overdo it, probably twice is good enough and won’t annoy anyone. If something calls for instructions, then always put them in your emails or else it won’t perform well. Never assume your readers will figure things on for themselves. The first rule of copywriting is to let the readers know the benefits and take them by hand towards the action message. That’s why, to become a good email marketer, you must keep a couple things in mind. Now you see why it’s important to do email marketing correctly. As long as your email campaign never changes, you will make more money than you ever thought possible.

Product Launch Tips that Work

05 Aug

The launch of a new product is no small thing, for most companies it puts their image at stake and their brand. It’s a way to bring out new services and products and get the maximum exposure in the minimum time. Preferring to work with whichever methods that they are familiar with, a number of firms and corporations simply do not get the necessity of offering a great product launch. Apparently, these people do not understand the effects that a good product launch may have on the life of the product, boosting potential success by up to 1000%. Not only will it make this giant difference in the product’s success, it can also bring in new customers to the business itself. When you are bringing a new product to market, you may want to target the launch at an existing market or you may want to create your own market. The following will discuss some easy steps you can take to ensure your product launch has the best chance at being a success as possible.

One method many marketers use is to precede a big launch by a mini launch. You can use this technique to your advantage by seeing what parts of the campaign may need some work. A good way to start one of these small roll-outs is to send a mail to a targeted group from you subscriber list. If the response you get to this peremptory launch are poor, you will know that there are things you must change and you can address these before the real launch happens. If you want to have a successful launch, it would be helpful for you to peruse the catalogs of information available on the subject online. You do not want to hamstring yourself and prevent success before you have even begun. There will be a lot of effort that is put into successfully launching your product on the Internet, so you want to make sure that you have all of your marketing bases covered to achieve the best results.

One way to do this is to branch out beyond just using affiliates and also include Pay per Click advertising on your site from day one. This is the perfect way to bring a perfectly targeted audience to your site in no time flat. The plan for continued success is to find a marketing campaign that is going to work for years to come, so you may find pay per click advertising is better than affiliate marketing.

Do not fail to realize that the after launch time frame proves to be as essential as the before launch period. If you can craft a good launch strategy, you will see recurring benefits from your product for a long time. But there will be a time when your product reaches a “maturity” level. This is when you should plan to revamp it by adding value; repackaging it and distributing it further using new avenues to keep on generating revenue from it.

Launching a new product takes a lot of hard work and many times you will feel like giving up, but persistence really pays off here, big time.

Once you get the hard part over with you can be reaping the benefits for years down the road.
